About Us

The journey of how three friends (who just so happened to all study physiotherapy) took the plunge to create a physiotherapy clinic designed to return high performing people back to their active lives and hobbies.

The Story So Far

We’re LIFT Physiotherapy — a team of physios who’ve known each other since school, went off to our separate universities, and worked in the NHS before deciding to do things a little differently.

Lift Physiotherapy Founders

After years in the NHS, we found ourselves hitting the same wall: we just couldn’t see people often enough or give them the intensity of treatment we knew would make a real difference. It felt like we were constantly trying to do our best with one hand tied behind our backs.

So, one evening over a pint, we decided to start something of our own.

LIFT began in Greg’s garage (yes, really). We cleaned it out, kitted it up, and with the help of friends and family, turned it into our very first clinic space.

From there, we moved into a small one-room gym clinic, and now we’re proud to be running a fully equipped two-room clinic — purpose-built for proper, hands-on, results-driven physiotherapy.

It hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Between us, we’ve survived a master’s degree in ACL rehabilitation (well done Cian), an ankle operation (which has turned Ben into an ankle genius), a stress fracture (which showed some real mental resilience from Greg), and more than a few late nights figuring things out.

Ankle Problems

But through it all, our focus has stayed the same: helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love.

Today, LIFT Physiotherapy is the highest-rated clinic in the area, with more Google reviews than anyone else — something we’re incredibly proud of, because it means our patients feel the difference too.
